Community Creations is SUNY Ulster's new student-run business.  It is a boutique in our cafeteria that sells handcrafted goods created by students, faculty, staff and the community.  Entrepreneurship students at SUNY Ulster, located in Stone Ridge, NY, have been working on Community Creations for three terms.  They have conducted market research to determine what the business should be and written a business plan.  Then students worked in teams to build a kiosk and a web site, work with artisans on inventory, develop accounting procedures using Quickbooks, sales procedures, legal requirements, marketing and much more.

The Grand Opening of Community Creations is Thursday, Nov. 21, 12 noon, in the SUNY Ulster cafeteria, during Global Entrepreneurship Week.  SUNY Ulster entrepreneurship students simply rock!
