iDeX: “OK Glass”: How a Wearable Gadget is Becoming a Revolution of Opportunity
Lehigh University Assistant Professor Jeremy Littau will give a demonstration of Google Glass and talk about the coming revolution of wearable technologies, including showing what Lehigh students are doing with Google Glass now.
Bio: A Lehigh University assistant professor of Journalism and Communication who specializes in digital media with emphasis on social, Jeremy Littau was one of several thousand people in the U.S. selected as beta testers — also known as Glass Explorers — to test Google Glass, a mobile wearable media device available now for the first time to people selected by Google.
The talk will cover:
1.) The coming wave of wearable technologies
2.) Google Glass overview and demonstration
3.) Examples of what we can do with it (including examples from Professor Littau’s class and students at Lehigh)
