The student-lead group, Jefferson BizBio at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, is hosting its first ever biotechnology entrepreneurship panel during "Global Entrepreneurship Week". The title of the panel is "Selling your idea: A case study on successful biotech entrepreneurs." We are excited to be organizing this panel because we felt that entrepreneurship is a unique journey that is best understood through various perspectives. Panelist include 1) a University professor that has founded a biotechnology startup while still advising and running his own biomedical research lab, 2) a seasoned biotech entrepreneur with various successful companies in the US and China, 3) a female scientist that has pioneered a successful biotech company, and 4) an individual who has recently entered the entrepreneurial community.
