Tennessee Rolls Out Another Big GEW Celebration

Tuesday night in Chattanooga, TN, more than 400 regional entrepreneurs and community supporters gathered for GEW at the annual Will This Float? pitch competition celebrating startup ideas across the city, and the launch of CO.STARTERS. Three years ago, this was the first event in Chattanooga focused on bringing together startup supporters, and the three winning business concepts went on to raise $5 million in funding.

The state of Tennessee has always been one of the strongest participants of GEW over the years. For example, The Society of Entrepreneurs hosted the 4th Annual Core Conversations on Entrepreneurship, the Knoxville News Sentinel held the Entrepreneurship Media Luncheon where the Knoxville News Sentinel business editors met with Launch Tennessee to discuss entrepreneurship. The city of Chattenoga hosted a 1 Million Cups event, and the Nashville Entrepreneur hosted the EC Fall Fest for the local community.

The state as a whole hosted over 50 events for communities to come together and celebrate entrepreneurship. For a full list of what happened, visit the Tennessee state page.
